On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Onalaska Water Supply Corporation (OWSC) PWS ID #1870009, to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform the customers of Magnolia Dr. in the Old Town Subdivision – OR ANY OTHER CUSTOMER IN THIS AREA THAT EXPERIENCED A WATER OUTAGE OR LOSS OF PRESSURE DURING THIS TIME. that due to a loss of pressure from a water main break, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of, Saturday, May 3, 2025.
